So the news?!

Well, we are getting close to Christmas but before you get too excited about Father Christmas and mince pies i have a few things to keep you going through the last few weeks at school!

Friday 16th and 23rd November:

Steve Bedford at Cairns Road:

come along and learn some survival skills,play team games and generally pretend your Ray Mears!

7.30-9.30pm

Friday 30th November and 7th December:

Christmas Fun with sugar icing:

We have a special guest leader teaching you how to make sugar craft models to put on top of your christmas cake!

7.30-9.30pm

Friday 14th December:

The Christmas Party!

Come along, bring your friends

They'll be food

a christmas tree

Games and the annoucement of the team winners from this term!

and probably other fun things...but you'll only find out if you come!

there will be a theme: but we will let you know nearer the time.

So that is it untill we meet again after christmas!But some other news

Exploring Christianity course:

Were into our fourth week, but still come along even if you haven't been before.

A place to eat good food, chat with friends and ask question about what Christianty is all about

5.30-7pm every sunday

DELVE

The new thing

we don't have a particular way to describe this but in essence:

• It's a place to come and worship
• It's a place to pray
• It's a place to chat with friends about faith, doubt, fear and love
• but it's not sunday morning church
• but it is church

Make sense?Probably not!But come along and see for yoursleves what this is all about. Its for 11-18 year olds (and university students!) from 7.30-9pm on the following dates:

11th November
25th November
9th December

It will then start up again in January 2008
